Returns and refunds

At Brick Stems, we strive to provide high-quality car kits for every builder. However, we understand that sometimes a return is necessary. Please review our specific procedures below regarding returns and the timeline for refunds.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for kits that have been partially assembled or where the brick bags have been opened.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request.

2. Our Refund Process

Please be advised that our refund process is comprehensive and can be complicated. Because each kit contains hundreds of specific components, every return undergoes a manual multi-step inspection:

  • Manual Verification: Once your return is received at our warehouse, our team must manually verify that all specialized pieces, instructions, and packaging elements are present and undamaged.
  • Quality Authentication: We must ensure that no third-party or non-Brick Stems components have been swapped into the set.
  • Processing Queue: Returns are processed in the order they are received. Due to the detail required in these inspections, this stage can take significant time.

3. Expected Timelines

Because of the complexity of the verification steps mentioned above, refunds take a while to complete. * Once your item is delivered to us, please allow 14–21 business days for our team to complete the manual inspection.

  • After the inspection is approved, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for your financial institution to post the credit to your original payment method.

4. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your total.
